Wool& Illustrations
I was asked to create a small library of Sharpie-esque brand illustrations and icons for Wool&, a company making ultra-comfortable dresses from natural wool materials. Naturally, soft and fluffy sheep come to mind! The imagery needed to be playful, simple, and quickly understood—much like the Wool& products themselves. Collaborating with Brand Director Christopher Scott, there wasn’t much contrast between my initial sharpie sketches and the final product. Once a look was established, I vectorized all art to be used for their website, socials, and printed collateral.

This project kept me smiling. One of the most enjoyable parts of this process was exploring the many variations of sheep and their everyday moods, or at least what I imagine their moods to be! These are some of my initial sketches before we landed on a final sheep character.
The illustrations were created with the understanding that they should eventually function as simple animations, so along the way I experimented with simple gif-making. After my illustrations were finalized, an animator stepped in to complete the process.
